Your Role:

As our HR Operations Assistant, you'll be a key player in keeping our People Operations and office running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for employee relations, handling everything from onboarding and off-boarding to payroll data entry and benefits administration for our Amsterdam and London offices. Beyond HR, you'll manage the day-to-day running of operations in the office, managing deliveries and waste, office and kitchen supplies, and more. Plus, you'll pitch in with the talent acquisition team whenever they need an extra hand.

 

What you will do as an HR Operations Assistant at Hadrian:

HR Operations:

  • Providing excellent service as the first line to all employee inquiries.
  • Carrying out the full range of HR operations processes in a timely manner, including onboarding new hires, off-boarding, absence management, data collection, benefit management, and other insurance administrations.
  • Drafting and executing all employment documentations, including contracts, addenda, and relocation needs.
  • Building trust, offering guidance, and understanding employment law, regulations, and best practices. A high degree of accuracy and confidentiality is essential.
  • Delivering accurate and timely data management for new hires, departures, employee benefits, work permits, expatriate packages, etc.
  • Being responsible for the completeness of HR data, employee privacy, and employee files.

Office Management:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient working environment.
  • Coordinating office supplies, managing deliveries, and overseeing decor and waste management.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met and maintained.
  • Organizing and coordinating office events, meetings, and other activities as required.
  • Acting as a liaison with external vendors and service providers.

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Assisting the talent acquisition team with recruitment processes as needed.
  • Coordinating interview schedules and communicating with candidates.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.

 

You are fit for this job because you:

  • Are fluent in English and have a very good understanding of written Dutch.
  • Possess HBO level HR or other relevant education.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role or an HR administrative role/Office management, or a related field.
  • Bring your previous HR experience combined with the enthusiasm to bring your ideas and best practices to Hadrian.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and best practices in both the Netherlands and the UK.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees.
  • Have the discretion to deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information with attention to detail.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills with flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work demands.
  • Have an enthusiastic, resourceful, hands-on attitude and you are continuously looking to innovate and automate procedures.
